Fade

Fade (Dream Catcher, #2)Fade by Lisa McMann

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Synopsis
For Janie and Cabel, real life is getting tougher than the dreams. They're just trying to carve out a little (secret) time together, but no such luck.
Disturbing things are happening at Fieldridge High, yet nobody's talking. When Janie taps into a classmate's violent nightmares, the case finally breaks open -- but nothing goes as planned. Not even close. Janie's in way over her head, and Cabe's shocking behavior has grave consequences for them both.
Worse yet, Janie learns the truth about herself and her ability -- and it's bleak. Seriously, brutally bleak. Not only is her fate as a dream catcher sealed, but what's to come is way darker than she'd feared....
My Thoughts
This series is a great, its different and a breath of fresh air. This book is a quick read. Love the romance and i think i like this book better than the first one because this book involves Janie in more action than the first one. She's involved in an assignment from the Captain to bust teachers who are involved with other students. The bust went great but i must say this book touched the subject of sex in a way that YA books usually don't. I wouldn't recommend people 15 and under read this. When Cabe and Janie are involved, its very romantic and i loved it but when things went down with the bust it was a little bit hardcore. But i think girls  need to read this book to understand what could happen at a party and date rape drugs. But overall this book was great and it was fun to read and a very quick read. A fave!

  2. I've read and translated into Portuguese in my country (since I'm a professional translator) and for me too this is the favorite in the series. =]]]
